I already have an app from my energy supplier. How is the SimbleSME App different?
The energy supplier apps do not provide circuit level breakdown of your energy use. On a business with solar, the building consumption is hidden by the solar production. This means that you can’t quantify how much energy your business has used or how much energy your solar has produced.
How much money can I expect to save?
The average user saves anywhere between 10 and 30% on their energy bill. For a business that has solar panels installed, there is the additional benefit of being able to extract more value from your solar energy by consuming more of the solar that is produced.
Can I install the energy IoT meter myself?
No, the energy IoT meter must be installed in your meter box by an electrician. We will arrange for one of our certified electricians to do this for you.
How do I create an account?
Download the SimbleSME App from the App Store or Google Play Store. Sign up for an account by entering your details and, if you already have it, the serial number of your energy IoT meter.
How long before I see my data?
Once the energy IoT meter has been installed in your meter box you will be able to see your energy usage displayed in the app within minutes.
